Reiki Classes

Introduction to Reiki for Animals

This introductory 2-hour class is for anyone interested in learning about the system of Reiki and how it can not only help deepen your relationship with the animals in your lives but also promote healing on physical and emotional levels.

Topics covered include:

• A definition of Reiki
• The basic elements of Reiki
• Why Reiki is ideal for animals (and shelter animals specifically)
• The differences between Reiki for people and Reiki for animals
• How to become a Reiki for Animals practitioner

Stories of experiences with animals will be shared. An Introduction to Animal Reiki handout, the Animal Reiki Code of Ethics and a recommended reading and Reiki resource list will be provided. $25

Reiki for Animals (for Reiki Professionals)

This class is for anyone who has completed Reiki II or higher who wishes to learn how to successfully offer Reiki to animals while also deepening their connection to Reiki energy and animals. This class will enrich your Reiki training through its focus on classical Japanese Reiki concepts and meditations.

Topics covered include:

• Why Reiki is an ideal therapy for animals
• How to successfully offer Reiki to all types of animals
• Classical Japanese Reiki concepts and meditations to help you connect with the animals
• One Reiju/attunement at your level of practice
• The Animal Reiki Practitioner Code of Ethics
• Practice time with animals

The class will be held in one four- to five-hour session. A manual and certificate will be provided. $175

Shoden Reiki I and Reiki for Animals

This class, the first level of Reiki, is for animal people who wish to deepen their relationships with animals while also learning how to support their healing on physical and emotional levels. Taught from a classical Japanese Reiki perspective, this class provides the foundation for self-care and working with both animals and their people. This class is unique from other Reiki classes due to the focus on offering Reiki to animals; however, you will have the basics for working with humans too.

Topics covered include:

• The history of Reiki
• The elements of the system of Reiki
• Classical Japanese Reiki meditations and techniques
• Basic hand positions for self-care and treating people
• How to successfully offer Reiki to all types of animals
• Four Reiki I Reiju/attunements
• The Animal Reiki Practitioner Code of Ethics
• Practice time with both animals and humans

The class will be held in two four- to five-hour sessions. A manual and certificate will be provided. $200

Okuden Reiki II and Reiki for Animals

This class is for people who have completed Reiki I and wish to deepen their connection with Reiki energy and animals. Taught from a classical Japanese Reiki perspective, the first three Reiki symbols and mantras will be introduced for use with animals and their people. This class is unique from other Reiki classes due to the focus on offering Reiki to animals; however, you will be working with humans too.

Topics covered include:

• Additional classical Japanese Reiki meditations and techniques
• Three symbols and three mantras
• Three Reiki II Reiju/attunements
• Review of how to successfully offer Reiki to all types of animals
• Remote Reiki treatments
• The Animal Reiki Practitioner Code of Ethics
• Practice time with both animals and humans

The class will be held in two four- to five-hour sessions. A manual and certificate will be provided. $250

Shinpiden Reiki III and Reiki for Animals

This class is for people who have completed Reiki II and are interested in learning to teach Reiki and Reiki for Animals, and for Level III practitioners and teachers who wish to add Reiki for Animals to their offerings. This class is unique in its focus on classical Japanese Reiki concepts and meditations integrated with successful approaches for offering Reiki to all animals.

Topics covered include:

• Classical Japanese Reiki meditations and techniques for Levels I, II and III
• The 4th symbol and mantra
• The Reiki Master Reiju/attunement
• Instruction and practice on performing Reiju/attunements
• Review of how to successfully offer Reiki to all types of animals
• The Animal Reiki Practitioner Code of Ethics
• Discussion on creating lesson plans and mentoring students

Practice time with both animals and humans

The class will be held over two eight-hour days. A manual and certificate will be provided. $750

Private Reiki for Animals Consultations

Private one-on-one consultations via telephone to answer your questions about Reiki for Animals.  Each session will be scheduled for 60 minutes.  $75

Essential Oils Classes

Introduction to Essential Oils for Animals and their People

This class is for people interested in learning about the healing benefits of therapeutic-grade Young Living essential oils for animals and their people.

Topics covered include:

• Brief history of essential oils
• What they are, how they are made, how they work
• Differing philosophies and importance of therapeutic grade
• Use in everyday living
• Considerations for use with animals
• Discussion of three to four basic oils

This will be held in one two-hour session. A handout will be provided. $20

Energy Healing Classes

The Animal Hearts® Method of Energy Healing (for Animals and their People) - The Basics

This class is for anyone who has completed a Reiki for Animals course from Animal Hearts® Wellness Center, and would like to build on the core foundation of our traditional Japanese approach to offering Reiki to animals with additional powerful energy balancing approaches that can be used with animals and their people.

Topics covered include:

• Review benefits of energy balancing
• Understanding the energy centers of the body (chakras)
• Assessing the energy centers to identify areas of congestion and imbalance
• Demonstration and practice of basic techniques to balance human energy centers
• Review of the Reiki for Animals core foundation
• Demonstration and practice of basic techniques to balance animal energy centers

This class will be held in one five-hour session. A handout and certificate will be provided. $125
